Clear terms when
plans change.

This Refund Policy applies to all services purchased directly from Renoize, including one-time project fees, recurring maintenance or retainer plans, and any add-on services. It does not cover third-party services (hosting, domains, licences, app-store fees) purchased on your behalf; those are governed by the respective provider's terms.

By engaging Renoize, you agree to this policy. If a signed proposal or service agreement contains different refund terms, the signed agreement controls.

Fixed-scope project: a deliverable-based engagement with a defined scope, timeline, and price.

Retainer / maintenance plan: a recurring monthly engagement for ongoing work, billed in advance.

Commencement date: the date work begins as stated in the proposal or agreement.

Deliverable: any tangible work product (design files, code, documentation, deployment) agreed in the scope.

A deposit (typically 25–50 % of the total fee) is due on signing to reserve capacity and begin work. The deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced because it covers scheduling, planning, and initial effort that cannot be recovered.

Retainers are billed monthly in advance. The monthly fee reserves a defined amount of capacity each month.

Third-party costs (hosting, domains, SSL certificates, app-store fees, stock assets, API subscriptions) are passed through at cost. Once a third-party purchase is made on your behalf, it is non-refundable unless the provider issues a refund to us.

Custom plugin, theme, or integration development scoped as an add-on follows the fixed-scope rules above.

We understand circumstances change. If something unusual happens — scope was never started, a critical dependency falls through, or we made a clear error — contact us. We review goodwill requests case by case and aim to be fair.

Submit a written request to hello@renoize.com with the project name, invoice number, and reason.

We acknowledge within two business days and provide a resolution or timeline within ten business days.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10–15 business days.

If we cannot reach agreement, the dispute resolution clause in your proposal or service agreement applies. If no agreement exists, the laws of England and Wales govern, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The effective date at the top will change. Material changes will be communicated via the website or direct contact. Continued engagement after changes constitutes acceptance.
